Wall Art

Posted By: Kristi

I have decided that on one of our walls I want to hang pictures, art, etc. I have gotten some really great ideas from all of your blogs, Pinterest, and then some ideas I have dreamt up myself. Both mine and Carson's last names begin with the letter B. This works out perfectly so that I can decorate with our initial now!

To create this, I bought two pieces of the scrapbooking paper for $1.00 and the buttons for $4.00. I wish I would have had buttons laying around, now I see how hoarding could come in handy (I only kid = ) The frames I already had on hand so those were FREE! It would have cost me even less if I only made one but I made one for my sister too because that's what you do when you have a sister. = ) This project is very affordable and if you have all the supplies could cost you nothing at all!

I found a font I liked on my computer and enlarged my B to the size I needed. I printed it and cut it out. I kept my letter black so that is would blend in under my buttons. I glued my letter onto a piece of scrapbook paper that I had already cut and placed in my frame. Next, I began layering my buttons and hot gluing them down. Eventually my entire letter was covered and I was done. Easy, inexpensive and fun personalized art!

  2. That is such a great idea, especially if you know what the color scheme is for the nursery or their house.
